This year at Bloggy Con I had the pleasure to meet Susan Petrone one of the authors of the book. She was so nice and I was given these items to do a review and giveaway on my blog.
Where should I start???? I love the fact that the book makes kids want to learn! It has a way thru using imagination and being extremely creative to teach children history. While some books about history can be boring the book was about Abe Lincoln and a sock, making it perfect for a younger child. I kept smiling as I read the book and my son laughed on occasion as I read him the book. I loved that it actually teaches what Abe Lincoln stood for like kindness and acceptance! The photos in the book were amazing and told the story very well. I think this important for the little ones who may not be able to grasp the words in the book yet.
We found your MISSING sock! It was on
Lincoln's leg at Gettysburg! The SOCKKIDS! This is an Illustrated
