KOA Care Camps Big Weekend May 8 & 9

Our mission is to allow children living with cancer to enjoy the joy, healing and freedom that comes from attending specialized summer camps where they can just be themselves. Surrounded by other kids just like them, they swim, go on hikes, sing songs and create memories that help get them through the tough times. They heal physically and emotionally, and hope flourishes.

We invite you to make a difference in the lives of these children. Donate to KOA Care Camps by visiting koacarecamps.org today!

KOA Care Camps was founded by owners of KOA Kampgrounds who collect donations and have fundraisers during the year so we can send children with cancer to camp. KOA Care Camps is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes. No KOA Kampground benefits from this program. A love of camping is what is shared. Only children who have cancer, or are in remission, and their siblings may apply. The generosity of donors keeps the Care Camps program going….. and growing.

The child’s personal physician makes a determination of wellness to attend camp. Your donation allows this camping experience to be free of charge, an opportunity gratefully accepted by parents who are accustomed to being inundated with medical expenses. Each year the Trust tries to add one or two more camps to the list of those that they help. Donations can be made in honor or in memory of loved ones, and all donations will be acknowledged.
