We have a full day of fun planned for the whole family. The day starts at 3 PM when some of Michindoh's greatest activities will be available for your family to enjoy. The waterfront will be open for swimming, boating, and playing in the sand. For those that want a little extra excitement we have our 320ft waterslide, climbing mountain in the lake, banana boat speed boat ride and the Blob human launch pad. For those looking for some dry fun, there will be a number of fun games on the waterfront such as gaga ball, 9 square in the air, human foosball, and archery tag. We will also be providing trolley ride campus tours for those who would like to sit back and enjoy the beautiful campus. At 6 PM we will serve a delicious barbecue dinner with hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixings. After dinner we will play a hilariously fun game, for all ages, that is as entertaining to watch as it is to play. We will split into two teams, each with a large circle on the playing field to defend. The teams will launch water balloons hundreds of feet across the field trying to score a hit in the other team's circle while members of the opposite team attempt to catch the water balloons in towels and launch them back. After the game we will enjoy a service with great worship, a video of Michindoh's summer camp ministry, and a testimony of God's work at Michindoh. Next on our list is a family square dance. Swing your mom, swing your dad and even swing your little sister to the energetic music and the fun calls of the Michindoh Callers. We will conclude the evening with a fantastic fireworks show. Sit on the shore of Weatherwood Lake enjoying a root beer float and popcorn while the sky over the lake fills with colorful bursts and heart pounding explosions. The event is free for the whole family, but if you can afford a donation for the expenses of the day that would be appreciated. Please RSVP so that we can prepare enough food and have adequate staff on hand to run the many activities that will be available throughout the day.
