The City of Toledo would like you to Save the Date for the 2014 Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony which will be on Friday, December
5th, 2014.
This year the City of Toledo is holding a tree lighting
event, sponsored by both ProMedica and Fifth Third Bank, from 5 to 7 pm
with the tree lighting taking place at 6 pm. A natural 60 foot blue
spruce tree has been selected near the Ottawa Park Ice Skating rink and
will be brightly lit with thousands of LED lights.
Activities will
include $5 carriage rides, Christmas carols, an ice sculpture
demonstration, and ice skating (both ice activities are weather
permitting).
Refreshments and cookies will also be available.
The Ottawa
Park Ice Rink is located off of Bancroft Street between Upton and
Parkside.
