Celebrating Shirley's Tradition
Sharing a love of reading is at the core of our business
Shirley
was known around town and beyond for giving away copies of her favorite
children's books to kids. Whether it was through pictures or prose, she
always appreciated outstanding stories and gave generously to inspire
others through her love of reading.
Today we honor that tradition, having donated thousands of dollars to community reading and literacy programs in 2014 alone!
To celebrate our grand opening in Maumee, we're hosting a FREE story and activity time, led by our good friend and award-winning children's librarian, Rikki Unterbrink.
Held Saturday, November 1 from 3-4pmat Lullaby Lane in The Shops at Fallen Timbers, the first 50 kids get a FREE children's book to keep!
DRESS AS YOUR FAVORITE HERO!
The
theme for storytime is heroes, and with the event taking place
over Halloween weekend, participants are encouraged to dress as their
favorite hero!
We have visited this location twice and I must say this is the best gourmet popcorn I have ever tried. Be sure to try the samples!
