Earth Day 2013 Deals, Events and Freebies

    
April 22 is Earth Day and some companies are celebrating by offering some nice deals and freebies! 
Here are some that I found worth mentioning..


* Anthropologie - FREE Potting Event for Children!  Make sure to call your local Anthropologie store location ahead to confirm their participation. Times and Dates may vary by store.




* Disney Store - Bring in 5 plastic grocery bags in exchange for a FREE Cars or Brave reusable tote on April 22!



* EVOS -  FREE Organic Milk Shake at EVOS on April 22nd. Find your local EVOS here.



* Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores - FREE reusable tote to the first 50 customers in each store on April 22nd.


* Michael's -  FREE Eco-Friendly T-Shirt Upcycling Show IN Tell on April 20. Celebrate Earth Day by learning how you can turn your old T-shirts into trendy and fashionable accessories. Call your local Michael's store to confirm their participation.





* National Park Week - From Monday, April 22 – Friday, April 26, the national parks waive all entrance fees. Hike, learn, share, and give back in the nation’s 401 national parks! Go here for more details.
* Origins - FREE recycled cotton tote bag with $55 purchase + free sample of Origins product of your choice with any order. Origins will also plant a tree for FREE with purchase of select Origins products to celebrate Earth Day!



* Pottery Barn Kids - visit your local Pottery Barn Kids store and pick up a FREE packet of seeds for kids to plant at home on April 20 -22. While supplies last. Go here for more details and store locations.



* Starbucks-  Some Starbucks are offering a FREE small tea or brewed coffee when you bring your Starbucks tumbler in-store on April 22nd. I saw this sign at my store yesterday. Check with your local Starbucks if they are offering the same promotion.



* Target - In honor of Earth Day, Target will give away 1.5 million FREE reusable bags at stores across the country, as well as sustainable product coupon books that offer over $40 in savings. For more details, see my previous post here.
