How Can You Help

Prayer   |   Donate  |   Gift-in-Kind   |   Volunteer

Prayer
The most important thing you could do for Cherry Street is to pray for the ministry, and the hurting men, women and children that we serve. We show God’s love daily, by extending a helping hand to people during their time of greatest need. Please pray that those who enter our doors will experience the forgiveness, healing, and joy that can only come from a life changed by God.

Monetary Donation
Your monetary gift will give those in need life changing services like food, shelter, education, vocational training, and Christian counseling. Your generous gift will have an impact on many men, women, and children throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
* Make a donation online
* Mail a donation
* Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
An EFT is quick and easy for you, and it saves Cherry Steet money. Simply fill out this form to authorize the amount to be transferred regularly from your bank account. Once authorized, the amount is deducted automatically until you notify us to stop transfers.

Volunteer Opportunities
Donate your time! Our work could not be accomplished without the help of the many volunteers who serve at Cherry Street. There are many volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups including, serving meals, mentoring, life coaching, conducting chapel services, cleaning, sorting in the food and clothing banks, helping in the administrative offices, doing specialized work projects and much more!

Help with Clothing your Community
Cherry Street has teamed up with several community partners to begin a clothing bank. During the month of January, we collected 85 tons of clothing through a community-wide clothing drive. We need volunteers to help with the clothing bank. See how you can help.

Help supply our Urgent Needs

Gift-In-Kind Donations
We accept all kinds of Gift-In-Kind donations-big or small! Your gift-in-kind donation of food, clothing, toiletries, household items, appliances, or furniture will provide hope and dignity to individuals and families who are in great need of these items.

Creative Giving
There are many ways to donate your assets to Cherry Street Mission. We accept stocks, bonds, trusts, jewelry, real estate, boats, RVs and other vehicles. You may also consider leaving a lasting legacy by including Cherry Street in your will.

Thank you for your generous support!

Because of you and your willingness to share clothes that you no longer wear, we were able to collect over 85 tons of clothes. This is one of the area's most successful drives.

If you are in need of clothing or other small household items, please dial 2-1-1. United Way will schedule a time for you to come and gather items at Cherry Street's LifeBridge Center.

We Still Need Your Help!

We still have tons - literally - of clothing that need to be sorted and organized. We also need personal shoppers and helpers to assist in distributing the clothes.

If you would like to volunteer, please attend one of our orientations. If you've already attended orientation, please call us at 419-242-5141 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting   419-242-5141 end_of_the_skype_highlighting, ext. 228 to schedule a time to volunteer or contact rgoodwin@cherrystreetmission.org.
